Abbotsford Invalid Stout..... oh yeah!!

Hey there fellow beer lovers, just bought a couple of slabs of my favorite beer - Coopers Sparkling for $40 at BWS at Cheltenham (Melbourne). I've seen it at Dans for $46 and thought that was good, so if you're in the area grab a slab or two! Bloody good price i reckon!

I went to a restaurant last night in Pakenham Vic. and in their beer selection was all the usual stuff - VB, Crown, Corona, blah blah blah. No Coopers, no LCPA nothing really worth drinking until the waitress asked me if i would like to try a new beer they just started selling from a local micro ...

I'm going to take a stab in the dark here..... but i reckon that all you blokes listen to triple M...

people must be getting sick of drinking VB and Carlton etc. In fact it was that very reason that made me buy a homebrew kit back in 1995...

VB, Crown, Cold and the like are definately bad beers - but nothing, absolutely nothing tastes as bad as Tooheys Red. It shouldn't be sold as "beer". I reckon its beer flavouring added to soda water
