CUB Keg

Anybody tried brewing in 50L CUB/Tooheys keg before? Any suggestions/instructions. I used to know a bloke who brewd in them, just never cared to ask how. His brew tasted pretty good too as I remember!

Guinness Recipe

Been looking but to no avail. Was also keen to try liquid yeast for the first time in this brew, with a concetrate if possible. Not bothered if the recipe doesn't use a concentrate, still pretty new to the home brewing game. If done at home in bottles or keg, does it taste and feel close to the real ...

Ever thought of just using some plastic wrap as a fermenting lid? Heaps easy and you can see whats happening! Also, no gardening tools required? :wink:

Thanks for your help, was just a little confused. Just guessing but, having a higher FG reading, that would mean lower alcohol content?

Canadian Blonde SG Readings

Would the addition of coopers brew enhancer 1 make the SG readings higher? Dont quite know what kind of sugars in the brew enhancer? Its been fermenting for a week today. Thinkin about bottleing them in 2 days regardless of SG readings?

Anyone use special glasses to pour their brew into? I work a second job in a club and 'barrowed' a couple of Energy glasses(I know, I know). Geeze, don't those glasses bring up the head and hold it. Looks better than the draught that I serve up, and mine comes out of a bottle! Have heard wispers ...
