Wow guys those sound like some yummy lagers, just imagine when they have conditioned over winter ready for the summer drinking, you will be very pleased with your efforts. I know thats when I go "yep that was worth the effort'

Lovin brewing in the cooler weather !

Okay so it tis a long time ago since I popped in. Tassie is nice and cool right now, perfect for my lagers and of course I am preparing for Christmas early with Ginger Beers for gifts, these are wonderfully welcome gifts, if they make it to the wrapping stage. I love to make bocks right now too ...

Thanks rwh, like many of us here I cant help but experiment, I am sure this will appeal to many who dont like beer, and us girls who like some pink in their drink lol, well for Christmas anyhow. I know there is alot of room for improvement but hey Santa will be here in no time, get busy !

Funny ol' thang the onset of Christmas, me I have been thinking about a ginger beer for Cheer ! So here goes with a lil experiment, simple with a splash of spice, I call Ginger Blush.

rehydrating yeasts

Hi one and all ! I apologise straight up if I am going over old ground. I am after info relating to the right quanity of water to rehydrate dry yeast. Is it 1ml per gram ? I forget, and the temp ? ( not that I have a thermometer, just roughly) See what happens when you dont brew for awhile..... oh ...

Yep Damon I think in Tas we really must brew or go broke :) besides the climate is just so right for the lagers huh ? How do you get on with rain water ? Dan dont mind me ...
