If I smoke heavily its hugging the toilet the next morning for sure. Thats the only real thing ive ever linked between a bad hangover and what ive done the night before. other than drinking Holsten.

I just tried this out by accident, I can't actually remember when we made this batch that we bottled yesterday but it was there on new years when I was thinking its been in there a month or so already.
My experience from that is more time = more good. Sitting it in the fermenter on the yeast cake ...

I found a recipe a while ago that had ground guarana beans in it. Which apparently is ment to equal 35mg of caffeine per drink. I've been interested in trying this out for a while now. Its all on here if you want to check it out.
Does anyone know where you get guarana beans from btw?

too much of the general public drink new for it to be truly recognised as a shit beer (because of marketing). For me XXXX Bitter has the worst reputation and is truly truly shit.

Also if I remember correct its a midstrength, so like with the light you will struggle to get drunk enough to put you ...

Ah, thanks Pale_Ale. Still strikes me as odd though, as eggs, milk and fish are probably the last things I would think of adding to a brew.
But if eggs = breakfast. and wine = eggs. then does that make it ok for me to have wine for breakfast? :P

The interwebs tell me that yeast is "unicellular fungi" so I don't see why vegans couldn't eat them.
Because being vegan would be pretty tough if you never got to eat anything living. Such as plants. I mean then you really only end up with rocks.

I was a bit put off when I was looking at wine in ...

The VB Original is a great beer. Forget the name. It's a bit like a Squires Amber Ale but there's something more to it that I like.

I just gotta have my two cents on this. I bought some of this today as I remember it being good last time I had it and it seems that... CUB has made a decent ...

I used to use carbonation drops but ran out so have just used dextrose since. Although I've never had a problem with my brews being overcarbonated, infact some have come out rather flat.

Well that should be an interesting brew. Technically a wine barley wine i think because the brewcraft calculator says that should be around 10.3% !!!!!
Even without the dextrose that will be up to 5% easy. Im not familiar with these things but I believe you need a more hardcore yeast than what comes ...

mmmm Cintra I remember having that often a while ago purely because it was so cheap. Mind you if your going to be drinking something that terrible you may as well not be paying much for it. Unlike Toohey Extra Dry Platinum, now that is both pricey and absolutely horrid.

I've been looking around my local hardware stores (thornleigh and nearby bunnings mostly)for foodgrade plastic hose but none of them seem to have any. They have vinyl and pvc, and from what i've found on this site thats what most people seem to be using. It just needs to be properly cleaned and ...

I haven't been into homebrew for that long but even I find my tastes have changed, that most commercial brews are far too watery and light when compaired to my HB. And what suprised me is that I prefer that my homebrew is less carbonated than commercials.
