Hersbrucker

Hersbrucker is drier and spicier than Hallertauer. Hersbrucker is mild to semi strong but imparts pleasant characteristics, and is the most important aroma variety in Germany. It is used in lager, pilsner, bock and wheat beers. Mount Hood and Strisslespalt are similar.
