My many thanks to an oustanding web page that is more than willing to listen to or at very least be patient with an outsider (Yeh I saw you roll your eyes). I may not know what a "Hoon" is (In Canada we hunt those for Thanksgivng and serve them with toast) But we do have basements that keep your beers cool
(LOL).
Hope everyones next batch is their best, It really has been my pleasure folks. Just be patient with my lingo.

Hey Dogger ,
Mate, there are no outsiders with this mob, every one's
as welcome as the flowers in springtime, and though I live here in OZ,
you have seniority in the amount of brews produced and that has to mean something in a web group like this one.
cheers ,down the hatch, dab.

we can't hunt the buggers but in WA the cops do take their cars off them if they're caught driving like d!ckheads.
shame they have to give back though!!! (after whatever the time period is)

I wouldnt think of yourself an outsider. I'm from Niagara Falls (US Side) but I happen to be living in Brisbane. SO there's at least another outsider here. Maybe I find some use by being the translator for people. i.e. "Take off you hoser" = "Piss off wanker"
although I was surprised when I got to Australia, the slang isn't nearly as bad as people make you think it's going to be. I had visions of not being to understand a word anyone said. There's some staple phrases that you hear a lot, but the whole rhyming slang is rather uncommon.
On a side note, Dogger, do you remember those Molson ads with Bob & Doug Mackenzie from about 10 years ago? Possibly my favorite beer ads of all time.

Thanks, Lets Drive on, and for those that get it, Take off eh.
Remember, as I mentioned in another post, anything less than full is empty.
Hey Hipone, if you get the chance take in Brother Bear, I know its a cartoon, but pay attention to the two moose, you might see some similarities. Trample Off eh?
