Was given a can of Coopers Real Ale and Coopers Mexican Cerveza and wondering if it might be getting a bit cold to brew now. Did a Coopers European Lager which has now been bottled for about 4 months but still needs more time (tastes OK but is still a little 'flat'

What temp are you capable of holding? And what type of yeast are you using? Winter is the best time to brew. For Ale yeast 18 deg is good, and for lager about 12 deg, if you're using the kit yeast try to keep it at 18 deg, but it will ferment up till 30 or higher, not sure how low you can go with a kit yeast though, I'd suspect around 12 - 15, don't take my word for it though. The Mex Cerveza is good with a few lemons or limes in the boil, just thought I'd throw that in :)
