Coopers brew enhances

Post by Shaun »

I was looking at the coopers brew enhancer kits in Kmart the other day to see what was in them. I was disappointed to see that they only listed what fermentables were in it and not the quantities. Don't those of you who use these enhancers find this frustrating as if you want to repeat a recipe that used a enhancer kit, however the kit was not available. How can you make it up your self?

There was brewiser brewing sugars on the self next to the coopers brewing sugars and these all had the fermentables and their amounts clearly labelled on them

I know what I would buy its not the coopers.

Comments for anyone who uses them.

Shaun haven't used them but I certainly agree with you. Not so much that you want to make an exact replica of their product but moreso that you want to change it slightly. i.e. a little more malt etc.
I also find the same with Brewcraft enhancer kits, which are a more advanced.

They are however a good starting point for newbies to get the feel for brewing with tried recipes.

All,

I found the following on this forum, but can't vouch for accuracy:

Bodybrew / BE#1 (both 600g Dextrose, 400g Maltodextrin)
Brewbooster / BE#2 (both 500g Dextrose 250g LDM 250g Maltodextrin)
