Hey Guys,

Just wanted a bit of help on a recipe idea,

Looking in the cupboard I've got:
2 cans of coopers real ale
1 bag of coopers brew enhancer 1
1.5 bags of brew enchancer 2
750Grams of Coopers Light Dry Malt

In regards to hops, i've got about

2Kgs of Chech Saaz
2kgs of Willamette (Spelling)
2Kgs of Cluster
2Kgs of Halluta Herbruker (Spelling - it's the hops from Hahn Premium)

I am going to do a 46L brew, but I was just seeing if anyone had any ideas using the above

I was thinking of bittering with the Willamette and then adding the Saaz with 10 mins to go and at flame out - plus adding some more in the secondary :-)

Any idea's?

Cheers
Mick

I prefer a more bitter hop with Coopers Real Ale (Pride of Riingwood my choice) so go with the cluster if you want to take the advice of a greenhorn.

Cheers, Pete

To do a 46L brew you'd have to use every ingredient listed at the top to get a full strength beer.

I would throw it all in then add:

30g Willamette @ 15
30g Hersbrucker @ 5
30g Hersbrucker dry hopped

By the way do you really have 8kgs of hops?

Yeah Pale, thought the same thing.

That's a hell of a lot of hops. Unless, of course, one is running a microbrewery.

Cheers,

And yes, I have approx 8 Kgs of pellets around here with more on the way. The old man works for Lion Nathan

Your old man works for Lion Nathan and you're still brewing your own beer. Should that tell us something about their beers or what? :P

I hadn't thought of being in possession of a commercial quantity of hops. I was thinking of 'Show us yer inventory'. But that works... :D
