Coopers pale ale

Post by mark68 »

I did this brew just recently using saflager s23,1.5 kg of pale liquid malt,300 grams of dextrose and 250 grams of wheat malt ,and it came out fantastic. It had a lasting head in the glass and tasted bloody nice too.I kept the brew at around 14 degrees during fermentation process,so it wasn't overheated. It was a damn nice beer.

Mark,

They sell the Coopers cans including Pale Ale at all department stores and most supermarkets in South Adelaide.

Cheers

G'Day Mark,

Sorry, I wasn't reading properly!

Try Jovial Monk in Parkside for the Coopers liquid malt.

Cheers

I always boil my hops for 30 minutes before putting in the fermenter. It gives a nice balance between bitterness and flavour.I used hersbrucker hops for this brew,so they weren't too bitter.
