Sounds ok.... i have heard of others putting hops in coffee filters, and stapling/ folding shut.... i think that works....

I'm with lethal. I got mrs warra to buy me the knee high stockings. I boiled them to make sure they're sanitised (probably overkill), and used them for hops and also steeping grains. And they're reuseable if you can be bothered cleaning them, although they're cheap enough to go for one use only if you want to.lethaldog wrote:I just steal the missus's stockings![]()

I dont dry hop that often infact i have only just started to as a bit of an experiment and i find that the foot of a stocking tied off with plenty of room for expantion works well
