Hmmm.. I recall a cartoon at a roadhouse called the 3 ways just nth of Tennant Creek NT. It depicted a horse drinking out of a bucket labelled VB whilst another bucket labelled Fosters was positioned near the outflow station.!! Glen

Sorry people, must have lost it / given it away or something similarly foolish.

If you do have, can you post it so I can return it to the collection.

Thanks,

Greg.

Yeah Oliver,
I go past there quite a bit, I never stop there though, they used to be a rip off, but it is under new managment now so I might call in on my next trip up that way, I do have some work to do at Newcastle Waters in the not too distant future and a mate and I are driving up to the supercars, I will call in and check it out if it is still there I'll get a shot and send it to you.

Remember the days before the internet got going and jokes were mostly sent via the office fax?
That drawing of the horse was a popular one. It was once on office notice boards everywhere.

It was 'round 1990 when I saw it. My wife and I had later picked up a carton of "barbed wire" and another of Southwark something or other. Always picked up shit beer at Katherine - ever since the early70s so it didn't come as a surprise that the Fourex was only slightly better than saarr....ff..aaarkk.........***. Here's to the Stuart. Cheers , Glen

I heard John Elliot's son on the radio a few weeks back say that his father once told him that Crown was the top third of the Fosters vat. (Elliot was an Australian beer baron who, in the 1980s, took over CUB and made it his mission to "Fosterise" the world. What a bad man.).

...and they dropped Adler in the klink just for embezeling (sp?) a couple of billion. :D

Precisely.

Where's the justice in this world. One man tries to Fostersise the planet and is still walking around free. Another loses a shitload of other people's money and goes in the slammer.

It just doesn't seem right to me.
