True, Crownies are not about drinking, they're about being SEEN drinking them. Depending on who sees you this can be a good or a bad thing.
BTW, would we all be more ashamed if Australia was more famous for Fosters or VB?

As a new member of this forum, I do have a cofession to make.
While living 6 1/2 years in Germany, my local "Kneipe" (pub) had Foster's on tap. Now this is certainly not the only beer I drank there, I did end up drinking many, many 1/2 litres during my sojourn.
Brewed by Holsten in Hamburg, it conforms to the "Deutsches Reinheitsgebot" and is eminently drinkable.
I won't say the same about Foster's brewed here.

fosters should come up with a new beer with the german purity law!!! maybe not cause they wouldnt be able to sell thier other shite

then again i guess good marketing can sell almost anything
