Does this mean bourbon and coke or does she drink and then chase young men?CrookedFingers wrote:...cougar juice.

Crookedfingers plus Cricketers IPA. You're not a wicket keeper by any chance?

Haha, not a wicket keeper !!
Cougar juice is a term I heard recently to describe white wine. I found it very humorous !

Prancing Pony Amber Ale at the Mt Barker hotel. Already had the pale ale as well. Not a bad local brew.

Re: What are you drinking now?
Punk IPA. Given to me by a scottish bloke I helped move a fermentation fridge for...he's new to Melbourne and doesn't have a car. He gave me 3 of these, and they're bloody brilliant. A lot like Feral's hop hog, huge hop hit and only 5.6%

Re: What are you drinking now?
Had a few Bridgeport IPAs on tap at our local tonight. Delicious beer. Then came home and had a stubby of Coopers Celebration Ale from the slab I bought at Dan's today.
Drunk at cellar temperature. Absolutely magnificent. I reckon it's one of my favourite Australian beers at the moment. Drink it too cold and it just won't be right. Let it warm up a bit and it will reward you. It is an English-style pale ale, after all.

Sold. I'll pick some up tomorrow.

Exit Brewing Saison. A really nice beer, spicy and very drinkable.
We picked it up from Slow Beer in Richmond the other day. It was the last bottle on the shelf, so either it is popular or they didn't have much to start with!
Cheers,
Oliver

The irony is crushing.
It's Good Beer Week. I'm stuck in Geelong on Circuit for the duration. Dinner with the judge last night, drinking... stubbies of Carlton Draught.
Oh Beer Gods, how have I offended thee?

Re: What are you drinking now?
You must really have pissed off those Beer Gods, Geoff.
Last night I was at the Royal Mail on Spencer watching a deer being broken down to make ham, sausages and salami, eating house-made charcuterie and venison on the spit, drinking Harvester's Ale, Bridgeport IPA and Coopers Dark ale, and brewing a beer to add to the spectacle of the "Beer and the Beast" dinner for Good Beer Week.

There should be a like button for posts on this forum. That exchange made me laugh.

Tomorrow I'm undergoing a minor gentleman's procedure, so today I'm on a "clear liquid diet". Going to pick up a six pack of Cooper's Clear.

Re: What are you drinking now?
Ahh yes, the 'gentlemans procedure'. I underwent one of those a few years ago. Always nice as you are still coming too to have a nurse playing with your junk and asking if it hurts anywhere.Geoff wrote:Tomorrow I'm undergoing a minor gentleman's procedure, so today I'm on a "clear liquid diet".
