A Hair dropped into the fermenter

Post by AidanMatthews »

two hairs actually, i got one...

the other disapeared into the beer as i seen it while stiring and the stiring brew sucked it down...

i stirred a bit more hoping it would come to the top to get it out..
i never seen it again...

can i expect my brew to be infected.. it pissed me off so much
everything was going perfect then i see this damn hair on top and sink before i could grab it.

Mate, my watch fell into my fermenter whilst I was aerating it! :P Haven't racked it to the secondary yet, but the hydrometer samples smell and taste ok.

I've had part of a Coopers label fall in. Tasted much better than when part of a Tooheys label fell in.

You think that's bad - I had an entire can of MSB Pale Ale fall into one of my fermenters. Took nearly a fortnight to get it out again. The beer was totally undrinkable...

lol, no it wasnt a pube haha.

ive been able to keep it to 23* that was after the first day when it was 26* and yeast added dropped the temp that night with it sitting in my sink with water in the bottom and a wet towel around it. during they day i run a fan blowing on it to.

the bubbles are starting to slow so i may take my first hydro measurement tonight or tomorrow morning.

Do you brew naked Morgs?

AidanMatthews maybe you might have to see Advanced Hair "Yeah Yeah".

Or the one Warnie is "plugging"..... pardon the pun

It'll be OK, as long as you wash your hair that is.
A homebrew is like a fart, only the brewer thinks it's great.
