Not going to be that fortunate I'm afraid Guru. It's the other procedure: bum cam.

No dignity in either procedure Geoff.

Spent yesterday afternoon on the can. Those "preparations" are really something else. Didn't even feel like the Coopers Clear.

About to sit down to start working my way through the just-received 11 disc "ultimate restored definitive edition" of The World at War. So why not have one of these?

Mountain Goat Fancy Pants. How you'd like Coopers Vintage Ale to taste. Tassie Galaxy hops, no less.

They were pretty special, CF. A couple were hopped with gear I've never even heard of, let alone tasted, eg Kohatu and EXP 366. They fairly f---ed me up, though, along with the balance of the evening's bill... at 7.2% they kind of sneak up on you. My wife informs me that she had to help me to bed while I was muttering on about some "bad soup" that I'd apparently had for lunch.

Currently drinking a Coopers Pale Ale in our hotel room in Cairns.

We found a pub with the footy (Aussie rules, not the round-ball games) on up here. Tap choices were along the lines of VB, Carlton, XXXX Gold, Carlton Mid, some dicey-sounding local lager, etc, etc.

After a Carlton Draught (which was sweeter than I reckon they brew it down south), I had some XXXX Golds  Shocking stuff.

The win by the Crows made XXXX Gold bearable. Just.
