Postby Horse Head Brewing » Sunday Jan 29, 2012 5:59 pm

Heyas
Just got back from Mildura (Gurus town) from a week holiday and have got to say Woolworths there was selling Lowenbrau slabs for $40 :D which is way cheaper than were i am if i can happen to get them.
Bloke running the HB shop there is also great to chat to as well.
So if you are ever there drop in there and also make a stop at the Mildura Brewrey/Resturant there brews are not bad at all :) and the foods not to bad either.
Hope this is the right section to put this thread

Glad to hear you made it up and got to go to the Mildura Brewery HHB. It is a popular place amongst the locals.

Funny story about the Mildura homebrew shop, I went in there today and the owner mentioned he needed some crown seals as he was starting to make his own beer. Go figure. He hasn't drunk beer for over 10 years and had some the other night and liked it. So he has decided to get into homebrew again. Turns out he just makes homebrew whiskey. Made me chuckle anyway.

Dude, you need to move to a bigger town. Like, one with 2 home brew shops.

I have asked for advice on certain things before and never really got much help, now I know why. The owner is a decent guy, just doesn't know a lot about homebrewing. Anyway, its the only homebrew shop in town so I don't have a lot of choice really.
