What does everyone think of this one so far in it's early life?

I bought a 6-pack and had one the other day, I will leave the rest for a good while now.

I thought it was pretty good but not outstanding really. I will have to give it some more time I guess.
Coopers.

I'd tend to agree with you. I enjoyed last years a bit more. However, I had a cold when I tried this years, so I'll have to give it another go soon.

Last years was better IMO, but it has had more time. Coopers recommends 2 years from memory, before opening.

A homebrew is like a fart, only the brewer thinks it's great.

That's the one.....hang-on I'm not that old :D

I had 2 Coopers 06 on Xmas Day.

They are extremely strong now !! OMG, the aroma was like a strong wine, high Alc% smell  , tasted lovely though and after the original pour it was much less distinctive in aroma.

Any beer after that tasted like water, actually we had the Little Creatures range after that along with the JS Hop Thief. The LCPA was noice

The 2007 was nice, but nothing like the 2006, when it was younger or older. The 06 will be stowed away for another year, whilst my 2, yes 2 cases of 07 I recieved will be given a thorough workout for the rest of the holiday season.

Off thread a little, sorry.....BUT, they loved my HB keg set-up 8)

Cheers
