I grabbed a slab at Jims Cellars at Waitara a few weeks back. Not sure what his remaining stocks are like.

Seems Theo's and Murphy's seem not to be stocking it this year.

Cheers,

How lucky am I??

Had to drop off some Trophies for my cricket team where the names were wrong on them.

Pulled up, Trophy shop closed due to too much on today please ring mobile.....called mobile "Can I drop them off somewhere?"
Reply "The bottlo a couple of doors up"

Had a wander around, yep 06 in the fridge "Mate you don't happen to have a case do you?"
Reply "1 left"

Thanks........Just had 1, better than 07.....

Question....They were in coolroom and I normally get my CVA from the stack as I like to store them away and I have heard that cold ones will be wrecked if I let them warm back up? Anyone heard of this theory??

Cheers

I've had beers taste 'off' after they've been chilled, then warmed up, then chilled again, but not always.
Good score on the '06! I think they will be ok.

That theory is a load of crap in general, Coopers would be an exception as it goes through bottle conditioning. It would just age differently. People complain about this but does anyone really know what happens to a beer in transit? Say VB is brewed in Brisbane at 9c and then stays in a warehouse that gets to 25c. Gets put on a truck and into a warehouse in Sydney and spends the night in a warehouse that drops to 2c. Then some person will complain about the case being left in the coolroom and the beer will be ruined if it warms up. You will do more damage to your beer laying it on it's side in contact with the metal lid.

Cheers guys, that puts my mind at ease.

If I left them in the fridge, I'd drink the bloody things.

You know "I'll just have 1" next thing you know, you have 0.

Cheers again

 , no chance at a bottlo.

It would be in someone's cellar.

There was a bloke selling some on ebay for some ridiculous amount.

I want to see the evidence to back that up, i.e. we want a photo.
Given that 1951 was the first ever vintage of Grange, I am looking forward to it.

I can post a picture of the Grange in my cellar if it's wanted.

As to the Coopers Vintage, I've only had about 3 or 4 bottles over the years, but always enjoyed them.

I think my subtlety was even too subtle for you lot.

The first ever batch of Coopers Vintage was 1998.

If you can find a batch of Coopers Vintage 1997 its probably sitting next to a unicorn.
