I got a 6er of their pale in the spring mixed case from the australian beer club.. wasn't overly impressive but nice. I'd buy it again.

Had the Pale. Fair bit of toffee to it but seemed a lot like a homebrew. Not bad, but would like it a bit lighter. Would try a lager if they made one
I drink to make other people interesting...

What a great paper it is, hey?

Anyway, I've tried their beers. I bought a sixer of one of the brews on the harvest weekend in the Yarra Valley (Vic, Aust) earlier this year. Was fairly impressed with the beer. Was not impressed with my mate Cam letting one or two stubbies fall out of the six-pack and smashing.

Just got a 6er of their Porter, awesome drop :D (I can see how Olivers mate let a couple drop out, the packaging is fair to muddling). I wouldnt mind trying the Pale Ale and what ever else they are offering. Damn expensive though $21.00 / 6er

Thanks, Anzac. Being in DM's is good for me because I can walk there, which is good when you're a cheap student with no car of his own. I do have lots of homebrew equipment and a bicycle though, so life is good.

There's a list of stockists on the Hargreaves Hill website:

*bump*
Anyone been here lately? I went today (its in Yarra Glen, VIC), only had the ESB. I heard the bartender telling a bloke they used english hops, but all i could taste was cascade, and tasted more like an apa than esb, to me at least. Wouldn't rave about it, but then there's another five beers there to try before i give up.

What are the 5 beers they've got? I've only tried the pale, the porter and the esb, but would be keen to give the others a go.

I went to a meet the brewer night a few months ago and he also brought in his blue chimay clone, a heffe, lager etc but most of the other stuff was only on tap at the brewery from memory.

there's definitely six on tap there, from memory: ESB, pale, hefe, celtic, belgian... and lager (?). They were out of celtic when we went which was a shame. But yeah esb was disappointing for me.
