Ooooo time to buy myself a copy of How To Brew. The one in print is the third edition, and besides, I want to support John for having his first edition online for free. :)

Maybe it is for current customers only? I would like to buy one of the chillers and if I get 20% off that'd be great!

I'm now the proud owner of How To Brew, a glass fermenter and a stainless racking cane. I swear I can't go in there without buying more than I intended. It's like I'm a collector trying to get one of each thing in the shop! ;)

I'd love a glass carboy, a big beer lava lamp.

Just made an order, with the 20% off it is a bloody good bargain, and even at full price really is quite a good place to shop! I may have to move house

Is this sale on ingredients or just hardware ( for the lack of a better word)?

It was on anything under $250
I saved heaps, got a discount on my gas but not my bottle.

Should have bought more, came home with money in my pocket.

You can also get 20% off a gift voucher valued up to $250. So if you don't need anything right now, just save it for later ;)

Well I too took advantage of the sale and got a copy of How to Brew as well as my first liquid yeasts.

Now will try rwh's starter/split method here

Everyone seems to like the liquid ones better so here goes...

Sounds good. Be VERY anal about sanitation.

Well went in today and got myself some grain, yeast and some beers off the shelf to try, to cut a long story short it added up to $298 and i ended up paying $229 with the discount, cant argue with that

! minor problem, i live in mornington so its a fair hike there and i asked for a 25kg bag of pilsner and a 25kg bag of ale, just got home to mornington after a bit of a day out with the family to find when i got the bags out of the boot that i am now the proud owner of 2x25kg bags of ale malt and no pilsner

Guess i should have checked them before i left but ill see if they can help me sort it out cos i aint driving back again next week

The bloke I talked to there was VERY helpful and went out of his way to help me with my order when an item I ordered turned up not in stock. They insisted I take the rest of the order right away and allow them to pay the postage for the out of stock item when it arrives, even though I said I was in no hurry etc.

Best of luck with it mate, hope you get an amicable response!

Yeah, the pilsner was in stock but it was just a handling error from whoever got it out, im sure they will be cool, i have never had any dramas with them in the past
