Sanyo SR 4912m gas line length, any advice?

Hi Guys,

A Sanyo SR-4912m compact fridge just fell into my lap and I'm gonna make the mods to create a two tap system with the taps on the front and a T-splitter on the gas line.

I was just wondering how long the gas line should be for each keg (from the splitter)? And, is there a minimum amount of gas line that should be run from the regulator to the splitter?

Oh, yeah, one final question, how long is a piece of string?

cheers

Growler

lol, I think the piece of string suggestion nailed it!

You'd want the splitter inside the fridge so you only need to drill one hole in the side.

The line isn't too flexable so I'd say you'd need a fair whack to reach each keg, like somewhere between 1/2 a meter & a whole one for each keg.

Twice the distance to it's middle.

Hey Growler,

Get a quick release Y splitter for your gas line. Then you can run the 2 lines in paralell & keep them short & neat.
If you need help, give us a call day/evening 07 32877225.

cheers Ross

thanks heaps for your replies. Thanks for the offer Ross, if I get stuck I'll give you a call.

It amazes me how a few simple ingredients and the resulting alchemy can bring people together from all round the world. Beer, much more than just a beverage, a world in alchoholic union.
