It's been a solid 6 months since my last batch of homebrew, so it's about time I fired everything back up and got back in business!
I've kinda ghettoed (word?) another honey lime & coriander recipe posted recently, though I'm not a HUGE fan of coriander. Having been a partial extract dude for quite some time, I'm wondering if I should ditch the Kit tin and give all extract a go? The question I have is simple, which of the following variations do you think will work best..
First variation (I have a feeling using old POR might not be the best idea).
2.6kg LDME
500g Leatherwood Honey
400g Carahell
100g Carapils
16g POR / 45mins (hops have been refrigerated, but are at least 6 months old, 08 crop, probably 5.75% AA by now)
35g Hallertauer / 15mins
10g Hallertauer / Dry Hop Secondary
2 Limes (zest + juice)
Wyeast 2001 Urquell Lager
BeerSmith = 22.0 IBU / 4.99 ABV / 10.6 EBC / OG 1.052-1.013 FG
Second variation.
Coopers European Lager
1.2kg LDME
500g Leatherwood Honey
400g Carahell
100g Carapils
35g Hallertauer / 15mins
10g Hallertauer / Dry Hop Secondary
2 Limes (zest + juice)
Wyeast 2001 Urquell Lager
BeerSmith = 27.5 IBU / 4.99 ABV / 11.9 EBC / OG 1.052-1.013 FG
Third variation.

70g Hallertauer / 30mins & 15mins
10g Hallertauer / Dry Hop Secondary
2 Limes (zest + juice)

The changes might be too subtle to notice, I have nfi, but please...
