Asahi Super Dry

I'm curious to know if anyone has had a crack at making something similar to the Super Dry (Which has to be one of the best beers I've ever tasted!!)

I haven't tried to brew a beer like Asahi Super Dry, but a dry beer enzyme, which helps the yeast ferment more of the malt, will probably help the cause.

You can get it from homebrew stores.

What sort of kit would you recommend?

Not sure what type of kit to use. I'm not that familiar with Asahi. You'd probably want a simple lager.

Talk to your homebrew shop guy/gal and see what they've got to say.

Also make sure you use a true lager yeast, which the yeast that comes with the kit probably won't be. Invest in a sachet of Saflager yeast and use that instead.

Cheers,

Excellent suggestion!! I'll let you know how it goes after my Coopers pale ale finishes brewing! Although I might have to wait until the weather cools down to have a go at the Asahi, if I'm going to use the lager yeast. (I don't the ability to keep the brew cool enough) Thanks again!
