Toying with the idea of a black saison as I am getting some Midnight Wheat malt shortly and thought I might brew something a bit different.
Malts are what I already have but can always buy more if what I have is unsuitable, BIAB for this one.
2kg pilsner malt
.5kg Victory malt
.25kg Midnight wheat malt
20g Hallertauer (4%) @ 40min
10g Styrian Goldings (4.5%) @ 10min
5g Saaz (4%) @ transfer
Wyeast 3724
Recipe for 9.5lt, hop times are taking "no chill" into consideration.
I am wanting to make a few small batches of different beers for an upcoming home brew battle, idea is to scale them up once I am happy with one.
Any input would be great
