So apparently there's a beer festival on at the Australian Hotel in Sydney in a few weeks.

Has anyone been to it before? Seems pretty interesting and the "line up" sounds alright.

The only time I've had an explosion was when I put a crate of beer in boot to go on holidays, picked it up 10 minutes later at my mates place to put in luggage and BOOM.
Luckily it was alot less messy than I expected. There was glass in the carpet for weeks but not in my face so I'm not complaining ...

It's hard not to get frustrated at this. Especially when in Dan Murhphy's and thinking I'll get a Japense beer like I had when I was over there, and I like a lager.

Thanks for the advice. I've got a second fermenter I bought for bulk priming and managed to completely forget about racking. I might try racking it for a few days with some finnings and then see how it turns out. I'm brewing lots and stashing it in the cellar for summer now anyway so hopefully it ...
