my first 7 beers i brewed were K & K or K & B

the 8th brew i did was a st peters fresh wort kit czech pilsner

all my brews after (approx 20) have been st peters fresh wort kits, with the exception of the 1 ezybrew kit

my favourite is the czech pilsner fermented @ 17 deg with us05 + 4.5 litres ...

vegemite flavour

i have just made my first home brew, it was a dutch lager,250g maltodextrine, 250g dextrose, and 500g pale malt

it was brewed at warm temperatures (average around 25-26 degrees), and has now been in the fermenter for 5 days

its been at FG 1010 for two days now,so i would say it finished fermenting ...

warra48, thanks for your reply

i just drew a sample from the tap, sanitised the tap before and after doing so,

threw out a cup and then took a hydrometer reading, it read 1010

i didnt take a start reading, but the kit tells me i should be aiming for 1005

good news though, it tasted like beer ...

mixed and yeast pitched ...
