Re: warm cellar temp
Just curious, but why don't you just bottle condition the rye ale?
Personally I don't understand why you would carbonate in a keg and then transfer to bottles for a whole batch, it is far less time consuming to directly bottle after fermentation, you also minimise other issues, such as oxidization ...

Re: What are you brewing?
I've done some interesting beers lately.
brewed an "APA" last month that I added roasted barley to, ended up a light bodied stout really and was amazing the first three weeks in the keg with the american hops, it then mellowed out to a tasty dark ale.
finally brewed out an altbier I had in a cube ...

Re: Coopers to expand
"Coppers sold a record 77.3 million litres of beer in 2014, up 7.4 per cent on 2013.
That accounted for about 5 per cent of the Australian beer market, according to Coppers."
I didn't realise the "Coppers" where selling that much booze.

Re: Fat Yak Fermentation
I haven't got much experience with s-04 (the two times I did it stuck at 1.020)
but if you are getting a stable reading of 1.012 ish and it has been 14 days, I'd say keg it.
drink the hydro sample and if it tastes like its done, go for it.

Re: Pogierob's brewery.
Yep room for one more. But at the moment its the co2 bottle or a keg. As you can see, the fridge location doesnt really lend itself to an external bottle.

Throw a keg of soda water on while you wait. Trust me Its awesome.
And keep some lemons on hand, its nice to have the option as a distraction from the beer tap.

Re: Not enough fridges...
I recently went glamping and took a keg with me. It was left in the trailer for three days before we reached our destination.
My understanding is that if your sanitization was up to scratch when you kegged the beer then you should be able to keep it for a while refrigerated or not.
Keep in mind ...
