Hi,
This is my first winter home brewing and with Sydney finally hitting winter in a big way I'm wondering what types of beer I should be looking at brewing.
My main concern is that Sydney doesn't really get below 6-8 degrees so I'm not sure whether it's cold enough for some brews.
If anyone has ...

Finings
Hi,
In my first batch my instructions said to put finings in when you add the mix/hops etc. However now I'm worried. Will that have destroyed my brew?
I only ask cause I'm about to put another one down and don't want to make the same mistake twice.
Cheers

Bottling - Clear Bottles and Twist Tops
Yo,
With bottling I've been told by a friend;
a) Not to use twist tops

Beez Neez Using Wheat Beer
Yo,
I'm looking to make a Beez Neez clone and in preparation bought a wheat beer mix and malt but am unsure how and when to add honey. From the discussions I've had with people and looking round the net there seems to be no consensus as to whether to add the honey before or after fermentation and ...

Hydrometers
Hi,
I've just put down my first ever batch but am wondering about how to use a hydrometer to tell when my beer is fermented and what else I should/could be using my hydrometer for.
If anyone can provide any help that would be great.
Cheers
Jon
