Little Creatures Bright Ale

Hi,
I've been reading a few recipes for making this beer and I would like to bounce this off you all before I put something down. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
It's a Kit version, I'm not at the extract stage yet.
So I was thinking:
Cooper Lager Kit
1kg LDME
0.5kg Wheat Malt Extract
15g B-Saaz @ 20 minutes
15g Cascade @ 20 minutes
10g B-Saaz @ 0 minutes
10g Cascade @ 0 minutes
American Ale yeast
I have some caramunich malt as well, I was thinking maybe 100g steeped beforehand. I'm not sure if it's a good susbsitute for carapils which many comments have suggested which is why I lowered the amount of this I would use.
Now, here's a question, it's been a while and I'm a little out of practice.
With the hops at 0 minutes. Do you leave them in there for a while - that is let the wort sit (not boil) for 10 minutes or so? Or just leave them in when putting it all into the fermenter?
Lastly, is it worth dry hopping? Maybe 5g of both B-Saaz and Cascade?
I wasn't looking to add hops for bittering, I was thinking the kit would be bitter enough.
Yes I do have a lot of malt in there, but I don't mind a little more oomph in my beer, so I am happy to up the hops a little to compensate.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hoping to put something like this down on the weekend.
