I was just wondering if anybody has ever done the same stupid mistake as me or knows the out come of such an error...
I forgot to water down my sterilizer, It is a rinse free sterilizer (meant to be diluted to 30ml/Liter) but i washed all my bottles with it and totally forgot to dilute it. After washing all my bottles with it and filling and capping them, my hands turned this white kind of colour and really really stung. so im hoping that it will be ok and that my throat is not going to go white and sting when i drink my beer... If anyone knows anything about this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

Kman, whilst we are a very intelligent bunch here (well, some of us anyway), we are not psychic.

So after i inform you it is a sanatiser, not a steriliser making sure you note the lack of the letter z in my spelling...

What sanatiser are you using?

Drsmurto I do send you my biggest apologies for calling it a sterilizer instead of a sanitiser, I now understand that this is a touchy issue for some, and god strike me down for using the dreadful "z" not "s". What’s more I would like to apologise for assuming your psychic powers... I was so sure that you were psychic I just can’t believe how wrong I was!

Anyway back to the topic the SANITI"S"ER I used was called, believe it or not,"SANITIZE" contains Hydrogen peroxide (2.95%).

H2O2 explains the white burns on your skin.

It will fade with time. Next time - use gloves.

Your throat will be fine. H2O2 is a very reactive compound so wont be in the bottle by the time you come to drink it. It is a powerful oxidant so will have fun oxidising the organic compounds in your beer.
