G, day all. just returned to the homebrew fraternatey after some 15 odd years.My how things have changed from can and kilo suger days.Reckon i can still taste some of the crap we used to turn out.Anyway after a few days of reading through the forums i,ve been bitten by the H.B bug.Most impressive knowlege from poeple on this site. :shock: So im in to it starting out doing the kit n kilo thing with a few mods.
First brew
Munich lager can (brewcraft) boil 12g goldings hops (pellets) with some coriander seeds in brew bag 30 mins srain bag cool to 70 c mix in goo.Added to fermentor with 5lt rainwater mix in bodybiulder #35 top up to 23 lt .Pitch yeast saf s23 @14c.Have in mod fridge set to 14* 16c.

Morgans blue mountian larger can

Questions to my leanerd brewers
1.add ons for the above james squire amber ale clone ?
2.fermentor confusion what tmp is best can says 20 .25c larger yeast says 10.15c
3.Should i do 2nd ferment iif so how

Others seem to really like the Blue Mountain Lager. Personally I didn't like it, and ended up tipping 3/4 of the keg into the garden after a few months of slow movement. In fact, i'm yet to find a Morgans kit that I like, having tried quite a few.

Did you have any mods on your brew?
what didnt you like about it .What do u usually brew .
style ,type etc
