Reading material.

Hi guys.
Can anybody recomend a good book or books to read to help me further my brewing knowledge.
Im looking mainly at partial extract and kits not AG at the moment.
Any suggestions?

There is the online version of John Palmer's "How to Brew".
I have the print 3rd edition, and it is worth the $35 or so I paid for it.
It covers brewing from basic kits to extract plus specialty grains to partials to all grain, as well as various technical issues, so it has something for everybody.
Just read the bits relevant to you at your stage of brewing.
I'm sure there are other books, but that's as far as my library goes.
Others may have further ideas.

I bought 'The complete guide to beer and brewing' by Laurie Strachan the other day from Angus and Robertson for only $12.99 the other day for something to read.
It has a stack of stuff on beer types and goes thru and has some recipies for can kits, extract and all grain as well. For the price you could do a lot worse imo for nearly 300 pages. Thats the everyday price it seems too as I saw it a while ago and they all sold, then the other day they had more in and it was still cheap.

For your stage, I would highly recommend the two book series:
The Complete Joy of Homebrewing
The Homebrewers Companion
by Charlie Papazian.
The best books for new to intermediate brewers that I've ever encountered.
