Yep... I bought a sixpack from 1st Choice in Mornington on Sunday arvo.

It's not a bad drop, nicely toasty without being overpowering. I was expecting the pepperberry notes to be pushed a little more aggressively, and that it would have a more unusual flavour than it did. Still, I'd give it three and a half stars.

how much is this? might have to check dan's tomorrow night.

I went to Dan's last night & they dont have it - mind you, that may have been just my local Dan's. Im gonna wander out to Purvis on Saturday so that should sort that problem out!

From memory it was the same price as all the other JS beers.

First Choice near me (Keperra) had this available for tasting last night when I popped in for a bottle of wine. I thought it was an interesting beer but agree with Lachy's comments. The pepperberry could've been accented more and would probably made for a much more interesting brew.

I might have to consider trying something like this myself but be a bit braver with the pepperberry.

I can not seem to find anything on this beer. Anyone has a link?? or know of anywhere i can get it in Adelaide?

I tried a bottle of this last night. I thought the pepperberry flavour was nicely executed. I think any more and it would have been more gimmicky than drinkable; this was definitely very drinkable.

There's a few pubs with this on tap in Brissie, sounds like a pint or two would be money well spent.

Finally got my hands on some....not bad! I probably couldnt drink it all night, but certainly a nice winter beer! I think the qty of pepperberry is near perfect - any more & it would be like drinking kava!!

I've got one of these going down at the moment. The aroma is really good, lots of chocolate and spices going on. I'm finding that its tasting better toward the end of the glass (probably cause its warmed up a little).

Hehehe... kava. Oooh, I just had an idea for what to do before/during/after my next brew session.

went down awesomely with the cheese plate at the pub!

Its on tap at the Grand central in Brisbane.

I think if they ran it as a regular beer, it is pretty well balanced, but as it is a seasonal thing, they need to up the pepperberry!

I just knocked off a couple of these and was quite impressed. I'm glad they didn't overdo the fruit though....
