2night I bottled some coopers mexican cerveza. The can recommends that I use 1kg of coopers brew enhancer 2. As I did not have this I used coopers brewing sugar. My very basic brew consisted of just; 1 can coopers mexican cerveza, 1kg of coopers brewing sugar and packet yeast from can. I used white sugar for priming.
I want to keep it simple for my 1st few attempts but still want a drinkable beer........what do u think

Depends on what you like to drink. What beers do you like? It's going to be a very light beer in body and taste. Not really to my taste but I won't be drinking it.As long as you like it thats the main thing. You've probably read the 'simple things to improve your brew' thread by now and would realize the BE2 has some malt and also some maltodextrin I think, which should improve both flavour and body. See what you think when you drink it, every batch is a learning experience.

Yeah it's not really my usual style of beer either, that's why i'm eager to find out what the end product will be. I guess it's similar to a Carona.
I tasted a bottle of the Morgans Qld bitter last night and it went down pretty good for first attempt. Cant wait to learn more so I can go for more involved beers.

I only ever prime with Dextrose as I feel that white sugar does affect the flavour.
Thats just personal preference though.

I think going on memory the only thing missing would be some DME which is included in the Coopers enhancer 11
