from the craftbrewer list...

What a great position :)
Little Creatures Brewing - VACANCY - Brewery Engineer
______________________________________________________________

At Little Creatures we continue to grow and are in need of a Brewery
Engineer to help us! This year we will install and commission a new
state-of-the-art brew house in Fremantle, and currently operate a new packaging facility
approximately 5km from the brewery.

We are after a very hands-on technical support person, who is not afraid
to get their hands dirty, but at the same time can step back and
complete necessary planning to support smooth operation. The ideal candidate will
have:

-sound troubleshooting skills (incl. automation systems).
-the ability to develop and manage the plant maintenance system.
-some project management experience.
-an engineering (Process, E&I, Mechanical) or trade background, with
-experience in automation, optimisation, and packaging lines an
advantage.

Candidates with other backgrounds (Science, Brewing), but suitable
experience, will also be considered.
-and of course, a passion for brewing....

This person will form part of the brewery management team and should
have a flexible, progressive attitude, and be a keen team player. This is a great
opportunity for an individual to join the team during a very exciting time.

Applications can be sent by email to: alex@littlecreatures.com.au

Hmmm, in two years I will have both a BE (chem) and BComm, looks like a trip to WA might .. hic ... be in order.

apart from homebrewing, I'm a bit deficient on the "experience" part, although I have drunk a lot of little creatures recently :D .
