Could drinking be good for you?????
http://news.smh.com.au/drink-exercise-a ... -1ky7.html
"...Drinking is healthy, exercise is healthy, and doing a little of both is even healthier, Danish researchers reported.
People who neither drink nor exercise have a 30 to 49 per cent higher risk of heart disease than people who do one or both of the activities, the researchers said in the European Heart Journal..."
So is lifting 12oz's at a time exercise?

The researchers collected information on the drinking and exercise habits of nearly 12,000 men and women aged 20 years or older between 1981 and 1983.
Over the next 20 years, some 1,200 of the participants died from heart disease and about 5,900 died from other causes.
That is the last time I volunteer for any sort of research or trial...

does anyone else think that it all sounds a little bit too odd that 7,100 people out of 12,000 aged 20 or over died in the 20 years? Am I missing something? Were these people with heart issues? Were most of these people 50+ years old?
What precisely do they mean by "other causes" - were these NATURAL or were the scientists running the show from the mad-house?

Although come to think of it it just sounds like they didn't have an even spread across the age group, they probably got more oldies than anyone else (i.e the people with the time to do surveys) Sorry pensioners!!

Ha!!
I was actually going to mention that pensioners have plenty of time for brewing, which is something to envy.
Also if you're self-funded I don't think you count as a pensioner, technically a retiree.
*This loophole surrenders any right to free 'sorry' beer

You sound like a politician, sucking up to pensioners and making "loopholes" to get out of owing them anything
