I found this long video on an entertaining website: spikedhumour
It goes into great depth regarding the production of beer and the history of brewing. it's a "Modern Marvels" creation from the history channel, about 45mins long.
Unfortunately, it's a very American show, and also explains why mainstream American beer is soo crap making mention how new beers like SNPA are changing the culture immensely.
It's well worth watching, enjoy!
