Is there such a thing as an automatic bottle washer, like a dishwasher to clean and sterlise your bottles before bottling?

27 years, not a bad run from a domestic device

Nat,

People have been known to put their bottles in the dishwasher to clean and sterilise.

A couple of points, though.

Firstly, there is a school of thought that the heat from the dishwasher could weaken the bottles.

Secondly, I don't know how well the dishwasher would wash them, as it's a pretty small opening that the jet has to squirt up. How much water would actually get in?
