I was referring to his spelling actually. Bloody deplorable. No one could be that bad without trying to be.

Funny you should say that, a bloke i work with wrote, "no drammer" in our log book at work the other day and i spent most of the day trying to figure out what the hell it meant.
Figured out he was trying to write, "no drama".
We've got three blokes at work that copy words from the schedule and they still get em wrong, they're out there.

They have been out there for as long as I can remember Rysa.

Several years it was necessary for my transport company to direct drivers to record details of insufficient packaging when they picked up freight shipments. Don't go there - a combination of dopey drivers and dopey clients!

Anyway, at this particular time, the major topic of conversation amongst our drivers was the high degree of promiscuity being indulged in and paraded by one of our shapely office girls!

So, when a consignment note arrives on my desk with the driver's notation, in block capitals "NOT RAPED ON PICK-UP", I was momentarily perplexed. Fortunately, the driver had already informed me that our imbecile customer had thought it unnecessary to package the goods he was shipping to one of his own equally imbecile customers (if any damage occurs, sue the transport company. In their dreams!!).

The first question that came to mind was: What did our driver think when he read or heard of reports of rape in the media? He could almost certainly distinguish between "raped" and "wrapped". You would hope so, wouldn't you?

There is really no answer. This particular driver's spelling was atrocious at the best of times. Perhaps, on this particular occasion, he was distracted. There again, perhaps he wasn't?

Best laugh I've had all day, Pacman.

Anyway, back to mini-mash. What discussion would be complete without Palmer

i spell bad coz im dislexick and i never need to rite anything as a plumber plus i pick up bad habbits from txting also im just lazy if im not sure how to spell a word i just try to make sure the reader can cach my drift so now u knowe.

My old man is not brilliant at spelling, not that bad really, just a few words in the crosswords , but he is the best carpenter/builder I have ever seen.....see legend in my eyes

Knocks up door frames, put's on a lock, hinges and hangs the door in under 1/2 an hour, you do not need spellcheck for that.

I'm pretty anal when it comes to spelling, as I am gooder at it, and I laugh when people get it wrong, but I don't go mental about it.
