Any new recipes that include prawns?
On a prawn binge lately and as "binge" and "beer" go so well together thought it'd be good to have the two (prawns and beer) at the same time.

Had a very basic prawn meal the other night that i wasn't too sure about.
Was one of the most enjoyable and filling meals i've had and in a long time.
Wasn't any beer involved in the cooking process, only as an addition to the meal but it suprised me how good it was.

A nice light honey lager goes well with prawns.

Nothing too strong, or you lose the flavour.

Add some beer to a batter (if you are battering), or I make my own tartare with a bit of my own malt vinegar (formerly a particularly poor IPA).

It was an IPA that I made at my parents house before moving to Melbourne.

I visited six months later and gave it a try. It was great- except there was no hop aroma, flavour or bitterness left.

I added so lactobacilli, and a few weeks later, light malt vinegar.

Though I don't know what I'll do with 23L of the stuff. I've only gotten through around 2L so far.

Take it to a market and flog it off as an upmarket cider vinegar. :)

Cider vinegar- also really easy to make. I did THAT one on purpose. It cost me $1.50/L to make, and people buy 'upmarket' ones for $7 in some places. You might be on to something Morgs.

Wow, twice in one night :D
