Anyone else been here? It has over 40 different beers on tap. Including Chimay White, Coopers Pale and Sparkling, James Squire Amber, Golden IPA, Pilsner and Porter, Little Creatures Pale, Bright and Pilsner. Unbelievable, could spend all day in there drinking different beers. Pity about the abundance of young upper class wankers. I think a stood out like Coopers Sparkling in a case of VB wearing a band t-shirt and shorts.

When would hopefully be when I have a job and have some money
Where would obviously be around the hotel
How I suppose it would be up to the individual. Me personally will always train it into the city coming out from the south western suburbs.

Im usually pretty flexible but my wife is due with our first in 4 weeks
Having said that I will be in town next thursday evening if anyone is keen for a quiet (or noisy) ale or two. Im seeing a band at the metro and it would be tops to meet any fellow brewers who are in the area before hand.

I'll be in Sydney next month so I'll have to check it out. I'll most likely be wearing shorts and a band t-shirt or similar, hey I just don't like pink shirts with the collars up.
Iron-Haggis, if you are a fan of NOFX (going by your signature) did you see them for their Aus tour?

I went there when i went to sydney the only time ive been there on a firday night. Was meeting a mate there that also had a buisness trip in sydney and took me a while to find it. But when i got there the security wasnt going to let me in untill i said i was from adelaide and this is my 1st time in Sydney. He let me in and boy was it full of some eye candy. Was good seeing good old Adleaide's coopers on tap. Funny thing tho i ask for a sparkling and the bar man goes is that the green one or red. I just laughed and said red. Was good drinking coopers better then the tootheys crap i had been drinking. So when i went to the other pubs in sydney over the weekend i just asked for a red coopers and i got what i wanted. When i said Sparkling it was like i was speaking in another language. But yeah the pub was well worth the visit for sure. Good tasting some of NSW craft brewers beer also

The whole reason I was in the city was to have a few drinks before I headed off to Luna Park to go and see NOFX. Bloody good show too, except for the ever seemingly growing crowd of 'emos'.

Yep, it was a great show here in Adelaide too, 'The Decline' being a highlight. Ok crowd here but definately not enough true fans.

Yep, they peaked in the nineties and now they aren't as good, but I'm still a huge fan.

I checked out this place when I was in Sydney on the weekend...it's a pretty cool pub. The prices aren't too bad for a swanky Sydney bar, and I found myself enjoying a Chimay White.
Pretty impressive range! Tucked away too, wouldn't know it's there!

I had a black wattle beer the other day.... it was rather yummy.
I agree, it's not a a bad place and it surprisingly large.
