Coopers Pubs Australia Wide

Been to a good pub, or bad, lately? Found a bar with a great selection of beer? Looking for a new local or somewhere to visit on holidays?

Coopers Pubs Australia Wide

Post by Pale_Ale »

I found this site, alot have probably seen it but thought I would post it anyway.

http://www.cooperspubs.com/

Gives a pretty down to earth review of SA pubs that sell Coopers on tap. Good for visitors (although nearly every pub has Coopers on tap here anyway)

Also has lists of interstate pubs that sell Coopers beer.

PS I am not on the Coopers payroll but probably should be considering this post.

Cheers
Coopers.

I was on a business trip in adelaide and I went through about 6 pubs / bars in the area and could only find pale and sparkling on tap.

I was keen to try some other ones but couldn't seem seem to locate any.

The list will help next time I'm down there

Cheers

My pick for Coopers would be the Austral on Rundle Street, it's got all Coopers beer on tap and good atmosphere.

Not sure how up to date the NSW listing is, it's missed the bondi pubs.

Agreed. You can't go wrong. Plus they have keg-aged Coopers Sparkling Ale on tap. Yum!

Yep, it tastes very different. Sparkling Ale ages incredibly.

I once was given a longneck Sparkling bottle form the Leabrook Brewery (their very last batch). It was about 18 months old at the time. It was one of the best beers I've ever had. Honey and fruit flavours were prevalent. Delish.

Darn, the link didn't work anymore.
I did find Cooper's Dark Ale on tap at the Albert Hotel in Tamworth when I lived there. It was nice to have an alternative dark brew to the stalwart Tooheys Old.
Here in Brisbane, I've only found one pub that has Toohey's Old on tap, and they have Cooper's Pale as well. It would be great to find more Cooper's places here. I stopped at the Story Bridge Hotel because they have a big Cooper's sign atop visible from the motorway, but all they had was Pale.

There isn't enough Coopers here in Canberra. Only pale, and the occasional sparkling. I want stout!
A beer in the hand is worth two in George Bush...

I am too ashamed to go back to the Austral after a particularly big night a couple of years ago.

I'm sure they will have forgiven me by now, but i still feel awkward even walking past the place

Yes, I'd have been 16 or 17 at the time, but I'm a big lad and know a lot of bouncers because I've been Djing clubs/pubs for about 4 years.

the picture alone isn't really an explanation in it's self, but the fact that this happened more than twice, and once into a pint glass (which i then spilt) means I can't go back.

a few other things happened which i won't go into in the interests of not incriminating myself.
