stout and dark ale

I have a coopers dark ale kit and a small mr beer stout kit ( .5kg for a 9 gallon kit). Could I use half the coopers and the stout together for a 9 gallon baatch...can I just dump half the coopers and the stout tins in together boil for a bit add both yeasts and some kit enahancer ? all i have is muntons kit enhancer not sure whats in it or anything....what would the results be like ? I have no hops on hand but could get them ( never used them so advise on that if needed too ....Thanks

depending on what you want to be drinking at the end of the day - use them both, but probably only pitch one lot of yeast.

I'm guessing this is your first brew unless you got the lager down last month.

Your volumes sound all wrong. Half kilo kit for 9 gallons, that's 40+ liters for a double batch? Most kits are around one and a half kilos for a 5 gallon or 23 liter batch.

Why don't you just follow the directions on the label and find out what the kits taste like before you go trying to modify them. AND DO NOT BOIL THE KITS. You will destroy any mid and finishing hopping.

Boil them all! Then add you're own hops.
