Hi all,
have had two goes at this and mustn't be doing it right.
First time can six grannies peeled boiled briefly and stuck in clean stocking leg, plus kilo of sugar = nice flavor but flat.
Secong time can plus two litres of apple juice (no preservative) plus kilo of brown sugar = nice flavor but flat.
Any suggestions?
taa in advance,
dasher

It takes time to carb. A LOT of time.

Good things come to those who wait. All it needs is some more time.

thanks guys,
I get the message loud and clear hurry up and wait.
I guess I have got used to the 21 days after bottling for ale and it is kind of drinkable, and the 28 days after bottling for lager, given suitable treatment. Am not used to 60 days.
Having said that as noted in the thread it taste really good.!!!!
I will wait for fizz.
