hey guys this is the second batch now.
Ive added about 500g of sugar and 500g of malt plus hops with the coopers bavarian lager kit

(most of it was simmered over the stove for 1/2 an hour)
as per instructions
its been fermenting for 9 days now @ 20C
my question is what should a batch with these ingredients look like before bottling?
mine is very cloudy, is this normal?
Image (look, it almost looks like orange juice!)

thanks guys, hope its not ruined!

Yep, that looks normal, especially if that's the first bit that you got out of your fermenter. Try getting out like 100mL and chucking that down the drain, then getting some more. It'll be clearer because you will have cleared the yeast from the tap intake.

But really, if you want your beer to clear, either leave it in primary for 14 days or so, or rack it and leave it in secondary for 7 days.

Rack it and all the "Cloudiness" will go away.

I have had brews that muddy and they have turned crystal clear with time :D

Do you have a second fermenter? If not leave ir for a few more days and it will clear as the stuff settles

rack to secondary then put it in the fridge at about 4C for 5 days to drop a heap of sediment out
