Alcoholic Iced Tea?

Post by Trizza »

This may sound sorta random, but does anyone know a way of making an alcoholic iced tea? I was drinking some Lipton ice tea, and wondered if it could become a refreshing drink that got you wasted. 8)
I realise it must be possible, but i imagine it must hard to get a recipe that tastes ok.
Any help much appreciated.

a friend of mine loves ice tea, she makes it as normal, usually with the tea infusion packs so it's nice and fruity, then adds vodka.

of course if your talking about brewing one thats something interely different, but not unheard of

i cant see how this is possible, fermenting tea...
or at least i cant see it turning in anything good. waht could you do? steep a lot of tea, then mix in dextrose to provide some fermentables?
but if it is possible, it would be bloody good?
