Floating Stringy looking sediment

Not sure if these are normal, but my bottled cooper's dark ale, has some stringy looking things floating in it. It's 4 weeks in the bottle now, so I cracked one open to see what it was like. Only a very small amount of carbonation, smelt alright, tasted ok, lot's of floaties.

I used a safale for the first time, and was wondering if the yest was the reson for the "stringies" ?

It spent a week inside fermenting at about 20C then it had to go in the shed, spent a week in the shed but the temp dropped down to 10C. The FG was about 1014 for 2 days so I bottled. Wondered if the cold temp in the second week, was the reson for it not being carobonated yet ?

The 'stringies' sound a bit strange. As long as the beer tastes and smells ok, I wouldn't worry.

As for the carbonation, relax and let it do it's thing. It knows what it's doing.

Hopefully after a month or so, the stringies will have settled out, then I'll have another look.

Stu and I put down our Dark Ales at the same time, StuBrew's lace show's how diff conditions can produce a diffferent beer.
