Any Canberra brewers out there know the details of any brew clubs?
I'll be moving there in a few weeks and need to be put in contact.
Thanks.

You have my condolences Chris. Moving to Can'tberra in the middle of winter.....brrrrr!!
On the good side though you are a lot closer to the snow for ski season.

Wassa, I do like my skiing, so that works out well. And I can lager without a fridge.
Thanks ACTBrewer. What a suprise that you knew the answer to my question

Yeah, real imaginative nic hey!
Other tips....the water here is neutral ph, so even the most anal all grain brewers ad little or nothing to it.
I can lager in my unheated back bedroom ( 5-12deg range) then just bring into a heated room for a diacetyl rest. I fermented a pilsner in the shed, but minus 7 is just that tad too cold.
Other advantages:
Cold conditioning in the shed works a treat!
You can get the bottles straight from the shed and they are cold enough to drink! (although I always give a day or two the fridge)

You put the bottles in the fridge to warm them up to drinking temp?
pH7! Sweet. The chlorine is a bastard though- and a bit random. I was there yesterday, and the water smelt like a swimming pool.
While I was in Canberra, I picked up 49 500mL swingtop bottles. I'm happy.
