Raises the Og, increases the complexity of the the beer, assista in getting a creamy head. is absolutely fantastic additive to dark beer and some lagers

How much honey do you add and when do you add it. Would it be wortwhile adding it to something like a Belgain Ale????

its not until u see the answers that u realise how stupid your question was. What I should have said was does anyone know how many points say 500gms of added honey would raise the og. Wassa have just put down the mahogany from your discussion on that brew. and ended up with 1045
Tassie I followed Wassa on this one. But boiled the honey for 5 mins seperately more to do with pot size than anything else and added to the finished wort

500g should add around 0.006 in 23L depending on water content of honey.
